Catherine Browne / Long born abt. 1786 as she gave her age as 25 when she landed in Sydney in 1811 . She was sentenced to 7 years when she was tried in Dublin City in Aug. 1810 . Certificate of Freedom No. 1890 . Date of issue , unknown . 1814 Muster , Catherine was “ Off Stokes “ , in Sydney , wife of P Murphy , with 2 children .
1822 Muster . Listed as “ Free by Servitude “ , the wife of P Doyle , in Sydney .
1823-25 Muster , listed as wife of Pat Doyle , Sydney .
1828 Census , Catherine Doyle was listed as Catholic , living at Harrington Str Sydney , Free by Servitude , her occupation was a Publican . Living with her , all born in the Colony , and Catholics , were her 7 children . Ann 16 , James 14 , Charles 13 , Catherine 11 , Margaret 8 , Elizabeth 4 , and John 3 years .
June 23 1830 , Catherine Doyle was granted the Publicans Licence for the Three Jolly Sailors . Harrington Str The Rocks Sydney .
Catherine died abt. 1887
