John was born about 1794 and was convicted at Cork Ireland in 1822 and entrenched to life transportation, he arrived Sydney aboard Mangles 8 November 1822 with Indent showing trade "fisherman".

John was murdered on 25 March 1829 by Timothy Murphy (Eliza 1827).
