Denis &'Philip Hennessy (Backwell) were convicted on 15 August 1837 of highway robbery and sentenced to death.

Denis arrived Sydney aged 20 aboard Borodino on 12 July 1828 with his Indent showing trade"labourer".

Denis was born about 1808! Kerry County Ireland and was convicted at Kerry on 15 August 1827 do "steal pig" and sentencd 7 years transportation
