 Biographies
| Joseph was convicted on 26 October 1846 in the Old Bailey, London, England, and sentenced to 7 years and Transportation to Van Diemen Land. On board the ship Cornwall, he was one of 300 convicts, with the average sentence being 9 years. They departed Portsmouth 28 February 1851 and arrived at the penal colony 11 June 1851. The ship Cornwall was built in Calcutta in 1811 and was a Class: AE | Division: 1 Tonnage: 872  Rig: Bk.  Shipmaster: Maundrell   Surgeon: Dav.
