Biographies

From Robertson Family Tree

Noted in "These are The Names" at p 247. Brother of Daniel Hadfield, received a Certificate of Freedom on 11 May 1838 and was listed as a voter in the first municipal elections in Sydney in 1842, with a house in Bathurst Street. He was born in Poland in 1799, and was sentenced to seven years at Knutsford in Cheshire in 1830. Came to NSW aboard the "Camden" in 1831.
