The "Windsor Review : a monthly magazine of literature, science & art" was established in July 1857. Although classed as a newspaper it was more like a journal or magazine. The editor was Mr J. Kennedy, a schoolteacher and it was run in conjunction with the local Debating Society. Unfortunately only four issues were ever produced and it folded in October 1857. You may be ineterested in localting whether your ancestor subscribed to some additional culture and expanding his or hers mind!!!

The following is a list of the "Patrons and Subscribers" published in the Windsor Review, the list is reprinted in full and unfortunately only a few christian names are included. All are listed as Messrs. Except those stated otherwise. Original copies of the "Windsor Review" are held in the State Library of NSW.
