Biographies

Lucy Waine is Lucille Hearson. She married Joseph Waine in 1802 she was convicted of passing counterfeit money and sentenced to 1 year in 1811. Convicted again for the same offence 13 March 1818 and sentenced to 'term of life'and transported to Colony of N.S.W. on the "Janus". Travelled with her son John. Arrived in Port Jackson 3 May 1820. Married William Civill (Saville)1821. Lucy died in 1828.
