Hugh was convicted at Cadiz Court Martial on 22 May 1810 and sentenced ton14 years transportation, he arrived Sydney aboard Guildford on 18 January 1812

Hugh Burne and Richard McGuire (Guildford) were last of gang bushrangers and convicted Court Martial Aug 1815 and sentenced to death.
