Charles was born 1804 Kildare Ireland and convicted Dublin Ireland 1822 and sentenced to 7 years transportation.

Charles arrived Sydney aged 18 aboard Countess Harcourt on 21 December 1822 with his Indent showing alias "Fegan, Phegan" and trade "carter".. He would later be sent to Port Macquarie aboard "Sally"

Charles & John Bulbridge (Cambridge) were convicted 28 Nov 1830 in Sydney of entering home of Stephen Partridge on 26 Sept 1830 at Port Macquarie and sentenced to death .
