Biographies

John Smith born 1796 in Co. Armagh, Ireland, a weaver by trade.
he died 19th July 1866 in Windsor NSW.
He married Mary Ennis (Ellis) (Elizabeth (2) 1818, listed as Ellis on ship's manifest and yet to be added to your website, see Peter Mayberry's website).
Their marriage: 4th Sept. 1820 Windsor, NSW, (bride listed as Ennis on marriage certificate).
Mary Ennis (Ellis) was born in either Cork or Dublin in 1798 and tried at Dublin. She died 15th June 1868 in Windsor, NSW. Although the couple were Catholics, baptisms are yet to be found for their children. Their eldest child Margaret Anne Smith born about 1819 (as confirmed by 1828 NSW census, Bathurst district, census confirms births/ existence of their subsequent children also).
Margaret Anne Smith married James Court (Waterloo (1) 1829) at St. Mary's cathedral 2nd Aug 1834. Margaret Anne Smith died 30th May 1853 in Sydney.
