Eleanor married Peter McAlpin on 7th March 1820 at St Peters Church of England, Richmond, NSW, Australia, She had been assigned to him from the female compound at Parramatta to help out in his home.

She was to look after his 4 young children following the premature death of his wife ELISABETH ELTON. After her marriage to Peter McAlpin she was granted her freedom. She absconded in 1821.

She returned, left again in 1823. The last record we have is her death on 7th March 1850 at Richmond, NSW, Australia

Peter McAlpin had been married previously to ELISABETH ELTON on the 16th Dec 1798. Garrison Church, Cape of Good Hope. Had 4 Children- Sarah, Peter, William Glas and Catherine.
