Edward was convicted at Lincoln Assizes on 20 July 1823 and sentenced to life transportation, he arrived Sydney aboard Henry on 26 August 1823 and acquired a Ticket of Leave 30/583

Edward was convicted on 2 November 1832 of murder Thomas Bradford (Hoogley 1828) on 22 September 1832 at Minto NSW and sentencd to death.
