Job was convicted at Somerset Assizes on 28 March 1818 and sentenced to life transportation, he arrived Sydney aboard Globe on 9 January 1819.

Job was convicted in September 1824 at Hobart of steal from a dwelling house and place occupants in fear and sentenced to death.
