William was convicted at Hereford Assizes on 3 August 1833 and sentenced to life transportation, he arrived Sydney aboard Henry Tanner on 26 October 1834

William was convicted on 6 August 1838 of robbery Thomas Pott Humphries on 17 April 1838 near Maitland and sentenced to death.
