Michael was born about 1782 Ireland and was convicted at Limerick Ireland on 11 March 1825 and sentenced to life transportation

Michael arrived Sydney aged 44 aboard Sir Godfrey Webster on 3 January 1826 with his Indent showing him married with four children and trade "gamekeeper".

Michael had Ticket of Leave 34/308 issued Maitland 25 March 1834 & TOL Passport 37/132 dated 18 October 1837 & Conditional Pardons 40/7994 dated 28 Aug 1840 & 41/220 dated 2 October 1840

Michael was convicted on 5 April 1841 of murdering John and Catherine Harris on 31 December 1840' at Maitland ( shot Catherine used butt of rifle upon John) and was sentenced to death.
