Patrick and twelve others participated in mutiny bevel lion on Norfolk Island in January 1834; Michael Anderson (Bussorah Merchant 1828), James Bell (Marquis Huntley 1830), John Butler (John 1829), Robert Douglas (Martha 1818), Henry Drummond (Ocean 1823), Thomas Freshwater (Manilus 1827), William Groves (Royal Admiral 1830), Henry Knowles (America 1829), Robert Ryan (Manilus 1828), Joseph Snell (Recovery 1819), William McCulloch (Dunvegan Castle 1830) & Walter Burke (Planter 1832).

Patrick was born about 1803 Limerrick Ireland and was convicted at Limerick in 1823 and sentenced to 7 years transportation, he arrived Sydney aged bout 21aboard Prince Regent on 15 July 1824

Patrick and twelve others were convicted at Court Martial on 18 July 1834 and sentenced to death

Patrick together with Burke, Bell, Butler, Douglas, Drummond & Snell were hanged on 22 September 1834 at Norfolk Island (the other six were hanged the next day)
