Biographies
Patrick and twelve other convicts absconded from the agricultural settlement at Castle Hill on 15 February 1803 with some entering the nearby home of M Declamb and stealing items.
Others were; Francis Simpson (Atlas 1802), Patrick Ross (Atlas 1802), John Morgan (Atlas 1802), Loughlin Doyle (Atlas 2 1802), Timothy Mulcahy (Atlas 2 1802), John Brown (Atlas), James Conroy (Hercules 1802), Laurence Dempsey (Atlas 1802), Patrick McDermott (Atlas 1802), Michael Houlahan (Atlas 2 1802), John Lynch (Atlas) and Thomas Shanks (Hercules 1802).

Patrick was tried and convicted in Meath Ireland in 1801 and sentenced to life transportation, he arrived Sydney aboard Atlas on 7 July 1802?with Indent showing alias "Gannon, Gannan".

Patrick was convicted of robbery attempt rape on 15 March 1803 and sentenced to death.
