Biographies

He was granted his ticket of leave in 1831. A ticket of leave meant he was still a convict but gave them more freedom to move about. He obtained his certificate of freedom 29 September 1834 and returned to England

His wife was Elizabeth Swepstone but he had kids to 4 different women, one of whom was actually his wife. The kids overlapped in time frame.
