Edward was born about 1786 Middlesex and was convicted at Middlesex Gaol Delivery on 13 July 1808 and sentenced to life transportation

Edward arrived Sydney aged about 24 aboard Ann on 26 February 1810 with there being evidence of alias "George Rouse" later.
