Martin was born about 1800 Mayo County Ireland and was convicted at Mayo County in 1821 and sentenced to 7 years transportation

Martin & James Googan & Anthony Radley & John Hall were convicted on 21 January 1825, of murdering John Brackfield on 5 November 1824 at South Creek NSW and all sentenced to death.
