Patrick was born about 1798 Donegal Ireland and was convicted at Sligo Ireland of burglary in 1831 and sentenced to life transportation

Patrick arrived Sydney aged 34 ,aboard City of Edinburgh on 27 June 1832 with his Indent showing trade "spadesman".

Patrick was convicted on 6 January 1834 of rape of Ellen Walsh on 1 December 1833 in Sydney and sentenced to death.
