Anne was tried in Kelmainham Quarter Sessions at Dublin in May 1795 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. The verdict was “Ann Fay and Catherine Byrne, found guilty of felony on a dwelling house, to the value of 4 shillings and 9 pence”. Anne arrived in 1796 on the Marquis Cornwallis
