Andrew was born about 1810 Dublin and was convicted at Dublin Ireland on 18 August 1826 of "steal fustian" and sentenced to 7 years transportation

Andrew arrived Sydney aged 17 aboard Cambridge on 27 September 1827 with his Indent showing trade "farmers boy".

Andrew with Richard Tunstile, Michael Browne & Patrick Corcoran were convicted on 18 Aug 1829 at Maitland of bushranging homes of William Forsyth & AB Sparke and putting residents in fear.
