Martin was convicted at Dublin Ireland in 1807 and sentenced to 7 years transportation, he arrived Sydney aboard Boyd on 14 August 1809

Martin Egan and Thomas Cuff (Tellicherry) were convicted on 8 May 1811 of murder Thomas Flynn(Boyd 1809) and sentenced to death.

Martin Egan was hanged on 10 May 1811 Sydney ( Thomas Cuff was reprised to life) .
