Michael arrived Sydney aged 25 aboard Andromeda on 18 December 1830 with his Indent showing alias Monaghan and trade "ploughman"

Michael was convicted on 7 November 1840 of murder & robbery Robert Archer on 2 August 1840 at Glendon and sentenced to death.
