Patrick was tried and convicted at Cork in 1822 and sentenced to life transportation

Patrick arrived Sydney aged 20 aboard Brampton on 22 April 1823 with his Indent showing trade "carter reaper"

Patrick together with Matthew Craven (Guildford 1824), James Moran (Isabella 1823) & Thomas Cavenagh ( transported convict ship not identified) commenced bush ranging activities.

All four were convicted on 2 Sept 1826 of bush ranging and sentenced to death.

Patrick & James Moran were hanged at Irish Town (now Yagoona) on 18 Oct 1826.
