Biographies
John was among six bushrangers, all transported convicts, operating Bathurst area; William Bryant (Eliza 1822), John Davis (Guildford 1822) , Patrick Fox (Ann &Amelia 1825), John Nichols (Asia 1822), John Langbridge (Grenada 1821) and another whose ship is not identified Danial Ryan.
All six were convicted on 13 March 1827 (burglary,sheep stealing house robbery) at Supreme Court and sentenced to death.
Bryant, Fox, Nichols & Ryan were all hanged on 9 April 1827 in Sydney whilst Davis &Langridge had their sentences commuted to 14 years Norfolk Island.
