Biographies
James was amongst a small band of "bushrangers" along with William Owen " Midas 1827" and Thomas Wiskin (Guildford 1827) convicted of "steal from a dwelling house and put residents in fear" at a trial on 8 December 1828.
All three were convicted and sentenced to death.

Convicted of "bush ranging" on 8 December 1828, James was hanged along with William & Thomas on 22 December 1828 in Sydney NSW.
