Catherine was tried and convicted at Dublin in 1831 of " steal handkerchief" and sentenced to 7 years transportation

Catherine was assigned to John Elliott of Segenhoe near Newcastle on 7 November 1832 and made application to marry George Linton (Royal Charlotte 1825) on 26 July 1833
