Thomas was tried and convicted at Middlesex Gaol Delivery on 20 October 1831 and sentenced to 7 years transportation

Thomas arrived Sydney aged about 16 aboard Lady Harewood on 5 August 1832 with his Indent showing trade as "silk weaver"
