Ellen was tried and convicted in Tipperary Ireland during 1831 of "vagrancy"and sentenced to 7 years transportation

Ellen arrived Sydney aged 26 aboard Southworth on 14 June 1832 with her Indent showing trade as "kitchen maid and needle woman"
