Biographies
William was among a group of six bushrangers , all transported convicts, operating Bathurst area; William Bryant (Eliza 1822), John Davis (Guildford 1822), Patrick Fox (Ann &Amelia 1825) , John Nichols (Asia 1822), John Langbridge (Grenada 1821) and another whose ship isnot identified Daniel Ryan
All six were convicted on 13 March 1827 (burglary, sheep stealing house robbery) at Supreme Court and sentenced to death.
Bryant, Fox, Nichols & Ryan were all hanged in Sydney on 9 April 1827, with both Davis and Langridge having their sentences commuted to 14 years at Norfolk Island.
