Biographies
John was amongst a group of six bushrangers, all transported convicts, operating in the Bathurst area;
All six were convicted on 13 March 1827 ( burglary sheep stealing house robbery) and sentenced to death.
Bryant, Fox, Nichols & Ryan were hanged on 9 April 1827 in Sydney whilst Davis and Langbridge had their sentences commuted to 14 years at Norfolk Island.

John was born about 1800 Middlesex and was tried at Middlesex Gaol Delivery on 28 June 1820 and sentenced to life transportation

John had Ticket of Leave 44/1772 Yass together with TOL Passports 45/1136 dated 16 Dec 1845 Yass & 48/0054 dated 20 January 1848 Yass. he gained Conditional Pardon 49/0012 dated 1 May 1849
