Charles was born about 1805 Essex and was convicted at Essex Assizes on 10 March 1823 and sentenced to life transportation

Charles, Duncan McCallum, William Morrison & Peter Roberts were convicted on 27 Feb 1826 of robbery William Hayes on 26 Jan 1826 at South Creek and placing occupants in fear and sentenced to death.
