John arrived Sydney aged 26 aboard Larkins on 8 November 1829 with his Indent showing married with one child and trade "ploughman".

John was convicted on 9 February 1833 of murdering John Kenyon ( unidentified convict) on 21 November 1832 at Bathurst and sentenced to death.
