Biographies

Bridget Malone was born about 1810 in James Street, Dublin.
Died 17th March 1884. Drowned at Bostobric, New South Wales.
Death verified in writing by son-in-law Edward Sackville Edwards. Living children: Mary 40yrs & Thomas 38yrs.

Parents: John Malone (b.1784-) Kate/Cate (1790-).

Crime: felony of wearing apparel.
Trial: Dublin City.
Sentence: Bridgit was age 33yrs when sentenced to 7 years.
Transported on the ship ‘Margaret’ in May 1837.

Permission to Marry granted 16 April 1844, Clarence River Region, NSW.
Her Condition when married: Bond. 16 Apr 1844, Revd John McConnell.
James Briggs. Condition: T of L. Certificate of Freedom 16 April 1844.

NSW Marriage Reg.No: 644/1844 V1844644 29.

Son Thomas V1846518 66. Born 1846 & died in 1918.
Daughter: Mary Born about 1844? & died in 1894 in Grafton NSW. Married Edward. S.Edwards.
