Biographies

Michael Ryan was convicted of "simple grand larceny" at the Old Bailey on the 19th February 1877, having stolen twenty yards of flannel cloth.
He was transported for seven years and arrived per the "Batavia" in 1818 and was assigned to the Hawkesbury area.
He worked for John Single, Thomas Bryers and in 1824 was discharged from the Emu Plains Establishment.
His later whereabouts are unknown.
He might have been the father of Margaret Ryan born in 1822 and baptised at Windsor by Father Therry in February 1822.
