CRIME: Benj. Briggs and Daniel Vince, charged with having stolen, from the barn of Thomas Boutell at Kersey, about six bushels of undressed wheat, his property. Suffolk Chronicle, 15 July 1843.
The Ipswich Journal, 16 Sept 1843, printed: REMOVAL OF CONVICTS.- On Wednesday last, the following seven convicts were removed from Bury Goal to the Millbank Prison, by order of the Secretary of State, viz.: Robert Fisher and George Kett, to be transported for 15 years; Henry Horrex and William Grimwade. for 12 years; and Benj. Briggs, John Stedman, and Charlotte Blunston, for 10 years
