Peter was born about 1807 Westmeath Ireland and was convicted at Trim Meath County Ireland in 1826 and sentenced to life transportation

Peter arrived Sydney aged 36 aboard Countess Harcourt on 28 June 1827 with his Indent showing alias "Riley" and married with six children.

Peter Reilly & William Bowen (Prince Orange)were convicted on 6 April 1829 of steal frown dwelling place at Patrick Plains on 19 November 1828 place occupants in fear and were sentenced to death.
