Claimed convict

Biographies

George was tried at Maidstone Kent QS 3 January 1839 and convicted of theft and sentenced to Life transportation. He arrived to NSW per 'Parkfield' 1 September 1839. He married a free settler Sarah Ann Farrell at Yass 15 July 1850 and they had a total of 13 children. George and Sarah both died at Yass and have many descendants still in the district today.
